Welcome to the Eric Valentine Experience
Our goal was to bring you the sound of Eric Valentine, to recreate for ourselves his tones, the tones that you want to hear.
We followed in the footsteps of this legendary producer to create a track reminiscent of his Queens of The Stone Age record.
We were thorough, applying every method and technique used by him, to achieve sonic mastery.
We recorded our instruments using his unorthodox practises; we opened up our drum sound by recording the kit at distance, we blended a beautiful myriad of guitar and bass tones, recorded from multiple amps using many more microphones, and we saturated all of it through tape.
These tracks were mixed just the way Eric intended, not a single sound was edited or affected without thought, every last detail was intentional, and done how he would have done it.
We request now that you listen to these tracks, that you take your time, and observe our process, please enjoy.
